Babieca
is born as a new vehicle for traditional music, no matter
its shape or source, but with a special effort on Spanish
music from the regions of Galicia, Asturias and Castilla.
The group's open and wide repertoir includes tunes from
Ireland, Scotland, Russia, Australia or Israel, as well
as arrangements on half age music, original compositions
and curious adaptations on theoretical training exercises.
The
band is currently facing a series of concerts and recordings
which will be deeply commented in this web site.
